What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities): • Sales & Client Management: • Oversee all retail and B2B sales activities, driving growth and meeting sales targets. • Ensure an exceptional customer experience from consultation to order fulfillment. • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotions. • Operational Leadership: • Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and schedule our production and sales staff. Foster a positive, productive, and skilled work environment. • Purchasing & Inventory Control: Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and execute all material purchasing. • Maintain optimal stock levels of framing materials, glass, and supplies to minimize waste and prevent delays. • Business Oversight: • Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the shop. • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to the owner. What We’re Looking For (Qualifications): • Proven experience in a management, sales, or operations role, ideally within a related retail, custom service, or production environment. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively. • Demonstrable experience with purchasing and inventory management. • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • A passion for quality craftsmanship and customer service is a must. Experience in the framing or art industry is a plus!
