About the Role We’re looking for a Snorkeling Guide / Host / Hostess who will lead and host guests onboard daily trips to the stunning Daymaniyat Islands. This is more than just a guide role – it’s about creating memories, building connections, and sharing the magic of the sea. Responsibilities • Lead snorkeling sessions, ensuring safety and fun for all guests. • Brief guests on marine life, snorkeling techniques, and safety rules. • Host and engage with guests onboard, creating a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. • Share knowledge about the Daymaniyat Islands, Omani culture, and local wildlife. • Be especially great with kids, making sure children feel safe, included, and entertained. • Assist with equipment setup (snorkeling gear, kayaks, GoPro, etc.). • Work closely with the crew to deliver smooth and memorable trips. • Capture and assist with guest photos/videos during the trip. • Take care of the island camp during overnight trips: • Set up the camp and keep it clean and organized. • Serve meals (including dinner) and ensure guests are comfortable. • Entertain and engage with guests around the camp, creating a fun and relaxing evening experience. What We’re Looking For • Passion for the sea, marine life, and hospitality. • Strong swimming and snorkeling ability (diving certification is a plus). • A real people person – warm, approachable, and engaging. • Great with kids and families – patient, fun, and attentive. • Genuine sense of hospitality, making every guest feel welcome and cared for. • Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills. • Fluent in English (Arabic or other languages are a bonus). • Previous experience in guiding, hosting, childcare, or hospitality preferred. • Big plus: Previous work as part of an animation team in hotels or the hospitality industry, bringing energy, creativity, and guest engagement skills. • Positive, team-player attitude – willing to help wherever needed.
