About the Role: You will play a key role in driving growth of the company businesses, involved in construction, property management, building materials, and lighting retail. You’ll be responsible for developing new opportunities, optimizing existing businesses, and supporting the company’s expansion into new ventures. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, combines commercial and operational thinking, and enjoys turning ideas into profitable, sustainable businesses. Key Responsibilities: – Identify and develop new business opportunities in the retail sectors, construction, and real estate (including lighting and building materials). – Conduct market research and competitor analysis to spot emerging trends and partnerships. – Collaborate with the company owner to evaluate and plan new business ventures and investment opportunities. – Prepare business proposals, and partnership offers to potential clients and suppliers. – Oversee day-to-day operations of the retails (lighting and building materials retail business), ensuring smooth sales, inventory management, and customer service. – Develop marketing strategies (showroom display, promotions, online presence) to grow footfall and sales. – Manage supplier relationships and negotiate better terms and margins. – Introduce sales systems and KPIs to track performance, stock levels, and profitability. – Work closely with the owner to implement basic accounting and reporting systems for better financial control. – Support the setup of bookkeeping and monthly reports. – Track performance and prepare management summaries covering sales, profitability, and cost control. – Coordinate with the construction and property management teams to identify synergies and shared opportunities (maintenance works, materials supply, etc.). – Assist in managing company profiles, branding, and business presentations for clients and investors. – Represent the company professionally in meetings, trade shows, and industry events. Qualifications & Skills: – Minimum 3–5 years experience in Retail management, business development, or sales (preferably in the construction materials, lighting, or property sectors). – Strong understanding of retail operations, pricing, and supplier management. – Knowledge of basic accounting and financial control is a strong advantage. – Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
